Wellness
G.I.F.T.S. is a non-for profit camping retreat program for families
with special needs. During these get-away vacations, families
receive respite care and can participate in education , recreation
and therapy activities. Hickory
Hill Family Camping Resort is the hosting facility, which
offers relaxation and wellness at its full amenity resort.
The focus of the retreats is on populations with diagnoses
such as developmental disabilities, physically challenged,
cerebral palsy, neurological deficits, Down's Syndrome, spina
bifida, mental retardation, attention deficits, and autism.
